3. Products and Descriptions
We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and availability information are accurate.
However:
-
Product colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings.
-
Manufacturers may occasionally update product specifications, packaging or accessories.
-
Product measurements and dimensions may be approximate where stated.
-
Product availability may change without notice.
If a product materially differs from its description or is unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss the available options, including a refund where appropriate.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, normally by issuing a dispatch confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance for legitimate reasons, including:
-
Product unavailability
-
Incorrect pricing or product information
-
Payment authorisation failure
-
Suspected fraudulent activity
-
Delivery restrictions
If we cannot fulfil an order for which payment has already been taken, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund.
Where possible, we may offer a suitable alternative product. You are not obliged to accept an alternative.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).
BABY2CHILD Ltd is not currently VAT registered, and VAT is not separately charged on our sales.
Product prices exclude any applicable delivery charges, which are displayed before you complete checkout.
We reserve the right to amend product prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already accepted, except where otherwise permitted by law.
Payments are processed through the secure payment methods offered at checkout, which may include third-party payment providers.
Where a third-party finance or instalment provider is selected, its separate eligibility criteria and contractual terms may apply.
6. Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time, baby2child may offer promotional prices, discount codes, free gifts or special offers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
-
Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions.
-
Discounts apply only to eligible products.
-
Minimum-spend requirements may apply.
-
Offers are valid only during the advertised promotional period.
-
Free gifts are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to correct promotional errors and withdraw or amend offers prospectively.
Any changes will not remove rights arising under an order already accepted.
Where a qualifying purchase is cancelled or returned, any associated promotional gift may also need to be returned, as explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy and subject to applicable consumer law.
7. Delivery Areas and Charges
We currently deliver to eligible Mainland UK addresses.
Our standard delivery charges are:
-
Orders over £49: Free standard delivery.
-
Orders of £49 or less: £4.95 standard delivery.
We currently exclude Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and certain offshore or remote locations.
Any applicable delivery charge will be displayed at checkout before payment.
Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.
8. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are displayed on individual product pages.
Delivery times may vary according to the product, manufacturer, supplier, stock location and delivery service.
Orders are normally processed on the same or next working day, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Some products may have longer delivery lead times, particularly nursery furniture, room sets and pre-order products.
We will take reasonable steps to deliver within the timeframe agreed with you.
Where no delivery timeframe has been agreed, the statutory delivery requirements under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply, including the general requirement to deliver without undue delay and within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
If delivery is delayed, we will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory rights.
9. Supplier-Direct Deliveries
Many products sold by baby2child are dispatched directly from our trusted manufacturers, distributors or brand partners.
As a result:
-
Products in the same order may arrive separately.
-
Different items may be delivered by different couriers.
-
Dispatch and tracking information may not always be available immediately.
-
Some suppliers may contact you directly to arrange delivery.
Although products may be dispatched by third parties, your purchase contract remains with BABY2CHILD Ltd.
We remain responsible for fulfilling our obligations to you under applicable consumer law.
10. Furniture and Large Item Deliveries
Nursery furniture, room sets, travel systems and other bulky products may require specialist delivery arrangements.
Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page:
-
Furniture may be delivered kerbside or to ground-floor access only, depending on the delivery service.
-
Room-of-choice delivery and installation are not included.
-
Multiple cartons may be delivered.
-
A courier or supplier may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.
Please check product dimensions, access requirements and delivery information before ordering.
If there are particular access restrictions at your property, please contact us before placing your order.
11. Failed Deliveries
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
If delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, unavailable access or repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts, the courier may arrange redelivery or return the goods.
Where additional delivery costs arise due to circumstances within the customer's control, we may request reasonable additional charges, provided these have been appropriately disclosed and are permitted by law.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
12. Risk and Ownership
Goods remain at our risk until they come into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive them.
An exception may apply where you independently arrange a carrier that we did not offer as a delivery option, in accordance with applicable law.
Ownership of the goods passes to you once full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered, subject to applicable law.
13. Cancellations and Returns
For most products purchased online, consumers have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after receiving their goods, subject to applicable exceptions.
Following a valid cancellation notification, customers normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
In addition to these statutory rights, baby2child offers a voluntary 30-day change-of-mind returns policy on eligible products.
Additional conditions apply to returns requested between days 15 and 30.
Furniture and furniture sets are excluded from our additional 15–30 day change-of-mind returns policy, but this does not affect statutory cancellation rights.
Customers are generally responsible for direct return costs for change-of-mind cancellations where permitted by law and where the required information has been provided.
Full details, including return procedures, exclusions, collection arrangements and refund information, are available in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions restricts your statutory cancellation rights.
14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
All products must meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including being:
-
Of satisfactory quality
-
Fit for their intended purpose
-
As described
If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Where we are legally responsible for the return of faulty, incorrect or misdescribed goods, we will meet the applicable reasonable return costs.
We may request photographs or additional information to help investigate the issue, but this does not remove your statutory rights.
15. Refunds
Refunds will be issued in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable UK consumer legislation.
For statutory change-of-mind cancellations, we will meet the applicable legal refund deadlines, including the rules governing when refunds may be withheld pending receipt of returned goods or evidence of their return.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Where permitted by law, deductions may apply for excessive handling that has diminished the value of returned goods.
Additional voluntary returns are subject to the conditions stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
16. Product Safety and Use
Baby and nursery products must always be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, safety warnings and age, weight or height restrictions.
Customers should ensure that products are suitable for their child's requirements and compatible with any other products with which they are intended to be used.
Where appropriate, products should be assembled and installed according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Nothing in this section excludes or restricts our liability for unsafe, faulty or misdescribed products where liability cannot legally be excluded.
17. Website Information and Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and available.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that the website will always be free from technical errors.
We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
We reserve the right to correct errors in product listings, descriptions and other website information.
Any correction affecting an existing order will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
18. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website, including our own text, graphics, branding and design, belongs to BABY2CHILD Ltd or is used with permission from the relevant rights holders.
Manufacturer names, trademarks, photographs and product branding remain the property of their respective owners.
Website content must not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without appropriate permission, except where permitted by law.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment providers, manufacturers and other external resources.
These third parties may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the independent content or operation of external websites.
This does not affect our responsibilities as the retailer for products purchased directly from baby2child.
20. Relationship with Shopify
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to operate our website.
All purchases made through our store are transactions directly between you and BABY2CHILD Ltd.
Shopify is not the seller of the products purchased from baby2child.
Shopify's role as our ecommerce platform provider does not change your statutory rights against BABY2CHILD Ltd.
21. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared, including where relevant with Shopify, payment providers, delivery companies and suppliers.

22. Customer Reviews and Feedback
Customers may submit product reviews, comments or feedback through our website or other communication channels.
By submitting feedback, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe another person's rights.
Where you submit content for publication, you grant us permission to display and use that content in connection with our business, subject to applicable law and privacy rights.
We reserve the right to moderate or remove unlawful, misleading or inappropriate content.
23. Prohibited Website Use
You must not use our website for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes.
This includes attempting to interfere with website security, transmitting malicious software, impersonating another person or using our services in a manner that infringes the rights of others.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect our website, customers or business.
24. Liability and Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes or restricts:
-
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
-
Your statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
-
Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
-
Liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
-
Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from purchases made solely for personal consumer use, except where the law provides otherwise.
25. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in Scotland, you may also benefit from applicable mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections or court rights applicable to you.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our business operations, services or legal requirements.
The latest version will be available on our website.
Changes will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights relating to orders already accepted.
